Four unclaimed big lottery wins all in Scotland – one £3.6m

National LotteryEveryone check your purse, wallets, behind the cushions on the sofa or wherever else a winning National lottery ticket might be hidden because somewhere out there is a £3.6m winning lottery ticket! Actually it isn’t quite as easy as that because due to the way that the National Lottery is carried out Lotto HQ know that the owner of the winning Lotto ticket lives North of the border in Scotland, and in fact if you live in Inverness, Nairn, Badenoch and Strathspey – then it could be You! The lottery draw was carried out two weeks ago and as yet the big lotto winner has yet to come forward to claim their multi-million pound lottery prize.

The winner of the £3.6 Lotto draw won with numbers 23, 25, 28, 41, 46 and number 47, so if you recognise these numbers you better get hunting fast.  The winner has until 22nd March next year to come forward to claim their life changing lotto win prize money, after that the money is distributed to good causes.  Clearly as much as everyone may be charitable they would much rather claim their big lottery win themselves and give some to good causes of their own choice rather than have all their winnings given away for them!

It seems that although those resident in Scotland manage to remember to buy their lottery ticket each week they are a little more forgetful than those in the South when it comes to claiming their lottery winnings.  There are currently three other large National lottery winners who have failed to come forward to claim their winnings who live in Scotland, in contrast to one unknown  large lottery winner in England.  So if you live in Scotland and regularly play the many lottery games available it might be as well to dig out any old tickets to have them checked as there is currently £119,777 waiting to be claimed from 28th August, the winner bought their winning Euromillions lottery ticket in Dundee, we previously covered the story of this unclaimed lottery prize in September.  There is also a winner from Glasgow who won £101,849 on the Lotto on 6th May who is also yet to come forward and lastly a £69,000 lottery winner from 15th July who purchased their winning lottery ticket in the Dumfries and Galloway region who also has not come forward to claim their big lottery win.
