An odd job man literally couldn’t believe his eyes when he realised he’d won a massive £250,000 on a National Lottery scratch card. The 53 year old from Llanrwst scratched the card and it turned out to be a winner. The man was so shocked he had to put on his glasses to check his eyes were not playing tricks on him. He then waited two hours for his wife to return from work and calmly asked her to check, when his wife realised how much they had won they were jumping for joy. The father of three had just a year earlier been made redundant after working for 20 years at a local aluminum plant. After this the odd job man was struggling to make ends meet doing jobs here and there for people. However the family’s luck didn’t stop there.
