You can increase your chances of winning the lottery by forming a syndicate. Many people believe that syndicates are just for people who work together, however, it can be any group of people you like. Along with co workers, many syndicates are made up of family members, university friends, golf buddies or even the girls down at the bingo.
The more people you have in your syndicate the better your odds are for winning, but don’t forget if you do win you have to share your winnings between all of the participants in the syndicate. However, you are all sharing the risk so you’ve got to all receive a cut of the winnings.
According to Camelot, the people behind the National Lottery in the UK, one in four jackpots is won by syndicates rather than individual players. You are reducing your odds by playing in a syndicate from 1 in 14 million to 1 in 1.9 million. When you look at it like that, it really doesn’t sound worthwhile getting a group of your mates together to participate. Just imagine what you could all do with that money!!
