Is there a sure fire way to win the lotto?

There is no definitive way to winning the lotto and believe me, if we knew how to win it, we wouldn’t be sitting here writing an article on it! But there are ways in which you can pick and choose your numbers to increase the likelihood of you winning a prize.

When choosing your numbers, don’t think that by picking numbers that have previously been winners is going to work. Also, do not choose numbers that are in a particular order, for example even numbers which are evenly spaced out or at indices of 2.

You need to select your numbers completely at random, rather than using your date of birth, how old your dog is etc. One of the best ways to pick your numbers is to draw them out of a hat or request a lucky dip when buying your lotto ticket. That way your number selection is completely out of your hands and leaving it to fate (if you believe in that of course!). By randomly picking your numbers you are reducing the chance that somebody else might have the same combination of numbers as you.
