This very entertaining story told first here in the UK by the Telegraph, detailed how the fifteen strong Budaors Police force syndicate decided to quit their jobs almost immediately on finding out that they won the Hungarian Lottery, the sixth biggest ever won in the history of the game. The lucky lottery winning officers all decided to a man that their big lottery win was most definitely going to change their lives. Good news though for the residents in Budaors as the local police chiefs are trying to get temporary cover until the new police force can be recruited, in the meantime the criminals in the area may very well make hay. Winning a big lottery jackpot can make some people do some pretty strange things even playing our own UK National Lottery, but certainly any life changing decisions should be done once the news of a big lottery win has properly been taken in. The sum involved in this particular win split between fifteen may well not last a life time and so in the early stages a lot of fun may be had, when the cash dries up the fifteen could well need to be looking for jobs once more. It is therefore wise to not make rash decisions if you are ever one of the lucky ones, time to reflect and ponder how the money should be spent, saved or invested etc is very wise. But hey, who needs wise when you have wild and thoroughly entertaining people like the Hungarian Police force – long may they serve, well until the next big lottery win! |
