Lottery sales on the up

It’s a fact that the Lottery is a hit all around the World.

The Pacific Online Systems Corporation, the Lotto equipment provider, has just announced Lottery sales in the Visayas and Mindanao areas have improved by more than half in the last month. A statement on the Philippine Stock Exchange website stated that sales of the Philippines Charity Sweepstake Office rose 67 percent.

The Pacific Online stated that February Sales totalled P1. 46 billion, a 38 percent increase over February last year. The Pacific Online stated that this is mostly due to ‘Successful roll-out terminals’ and the ‘continuous support of the betting public’.

Lottery sales have been continuously expanding year on year and in 2008 Pacific Online Systems Corp. posted a 48 per cent rise in revenue, this was also owed to the implementation of more Lottery Terminals in the Visayas and Mindanao.

The Pacific Online Systems Corporation states they had implemented 200 lottery terminals in 2008, bringing the total to 1,600 lottery terminals in the Visayas and Mindanao. With plans to implement even more in throughout 2009 revenue is also expected to rapidly increase throughout 2009, and with estimated Jackpots of 6,000,000.00 in these area’s who can blame them?
