Lotto Hideout asks, where do big lottery winners hide?

National LotteryLottery Hideout are wondering how so many lottery winners fail to come forward in good time, and then got to wondering is it that the lottery winners just don’t know where they keep their lottery tickets? Are the winning lottery tickets possibly mislaid in the back of a drawer filed under ‘must deal with one day’? What possibly could delay a winner claiming a big multimillion pound lottery win, have they been ill or out of the country with work, too shy to come forward, maybe in a dispute with an ex-spouse and scared of claiming in case they lose half of their winnings?

The questions are endless and the answers just never seem to come, and the most recent news of a lottery winner coming out of the woodwork after what seems like an eternity still doesn’t answer all our questions.  The news of the missing £3m lottery winner from West Sussex that was being sought by the National Lottery HQ Camelot was told in a recent BBC news article.  The details of the unknown winner who had purchased the ticket in Worthing on Halloween were published by various newspapers and luckily the owner of the winning lotto ticket came forward.  The Independent carried a quote from a National Lottery spokesperson on the 18th November which said "We're desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings - this amazing jackpot prize could really make a huge difference to somebody's life.

"We're urging everyone to check their old tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding."

The National Lottery HQ earlier confirmed that a winner has come forward to make a claim and the lotto ticket was in the process of being verified. Of course if you are a little disorganised and don’t want to miss out on claiming your big lottery win it makes perfect sense to purchase your lottery tickets online, that way the UK National Lottery HQ will email you if you win!
