Going on holiday can sometimes leave you a bit short on money, so imagine coming home from your yearly hols to discover you had won £10million on the lottery. This is exactly what happened to one couple over the Easter break. Martyn and Sandra White were all set to catch their plane in Italy when they checked their email… only to discover they were now millionaires. Mr White said: ‘I wasn’t going to check but intrigue got the better off me and I logged on to my account. It took me ages to spot the email and even when I did, I thought it was a mistake.’ When it finally dawned on the couple they had in fact won the massive jackpot, they jumped for joy. Mrs White has now given up her pastoral carer job at a local school and the pair now plans to upgrade their house in Luton while Mr White is going to buy a BMW or a Mercedes. As well as all this, the couple are going to clear all their children’s debts and student loans. They will also be treating themselves to some slap up dinners and designer clothes. |
