A businesswoman has won a substantial cash prize on a National Lottery scratch card jackpot. The businesswoman from London, Falguni Patel, bought a Deal or No Deal National Lottery Scratch card, which is based on the TV gameshow.

Ms Patel had never played the game before and scooped the jackpot, which was worth £250,000, which she has put down to beginner’s luck.

Ms Patel is a part time teacher and also runs her own ‘pamper business’. Ms Patel was delighted with her National Lottery scratch card win and plans to invest some of her £250,000 into her business and spoil her family.

Ms Patel has commented on her win and said:

“The business is doing really well but I shall use some of the win to build it further. I want to help my brother who has been studying in the USA with his student loans, my disabled sister to receive private treatment and my mum and dad with a retirement plan. I should be able to put some money towards a house and if there is any left my mum has always wanted a BMW, so I will treat her.”

It has also been heard that Ms Patel intends to make a donation to the charity Save the Children.
