Nineteen-year-old performing arts student Hannah Muckell and her twenty-year-old student boyfriend Lee Hallsworth have scooped a £1,017,166 share of the Lotto jackpot on Wednesday 19th November. Hannah, who lives in student accommodation in Melton, was shocked when she saw that she’d matched six numbers when she checked the results on Teletext. I couldn't believe it was happening. I thought Lee was joking before I looked at my TV and realised it was true. I was with my best friend who was holding my hand and we just sat on my bed in silence. I was just completely shocked and stunned. Hannah is a second year student at Brooksby Melton College taking her performing arts degree. She hopes to be an actress after she’s completed her degree, and gone on to do a masters degree. The Lotto win will certainly come in handy for her student fees and living expenses. The couple are from Barnsley and have spent the last two years together. They have been playing the Lotto since they met and always play the same numbers, 5, 7, 18, 27, 31 and 33. The numbers Hannah plays are for her birthday, the 31st, the month of her birthday, May, and the age she was when she started playing the Lotto, 18. Despite their new found Lotto wealth, the couple intend to complete their studies. They do intend to take a few holidays and buy a car each though, and Hannah intends to give up her part time job. We've never won anything on the Lottery before. We're just going to carry on as normal but it means we don't have to worry about paying student loans back or bills. For me it's just going to make it that little bit easier to get started in the acting industry.
