Dental nurse Louise Fletcher was jumping for joy when she won a massive Lotto jackpot of £140,933. Her husband, who was at home bored whilst Louise was out, decided to check Louise’s lottery numbers on Teletext and couldn’t believe his eyes when he realised they were this week’s lucky winners. When he realised he went straight to Church, where Louise was waiting. The delighted mum of two thought that her joker husband was teasing her. When he finally persuaded her he was telling the truth they both drove to the local shop where they brought their tickets, who then confirmed they had a winning ticket. Louise said ‘I didn’t want to believe it at first as I didn’t want to be disappointed, even though I have spent it many times over my head’ The family of four are now deciding how they will spend their big win. But one thing is for sure, champagne corks will certainly be popped and a family holiday is most definitely on the cards as well as car upgrades. The pair also plan to pay off their mortgage. Louise bought her lucky dip ticket in the News For You shop in Blaydon, however buying a ticket has never been so easy to purchase. The National lottery now allows you to purchase them online, as well as scratchcards. |
