A husband and wife team who own their own snack bar have just scooped a massive £4.5 million on the lotto just days after a fortune teller predicted their win. The couple told how they were stunned at the fortune teller’s prediction and were so thrilled that they gave her an egg sandwich and a cup of tea on the house. Amazingly the fortune teller said of their windfall ‘I can see a four, but I can’t see how many zero’s there are’. The couple later went on to net a cool £4,493,783 the following Saturday. The couple plan to quit their £70,000 two bedroom terrace and are going to build themselves a dream home. The lucky pair, who before their win devoted every waking hour to running their snack bar in County Durham were in financial despair when the fortune teller gave her predication. The couple would love to meet her again to thank her, and treat her to a slap up meal as opposed to just the egg sandwich and a cup of tea. The winning pair now laugh and joke saying ‘You could call us the Burger King & Queen now we’ve won this money’. And the biggest extravagance the pair wants to splash out on? Electric windows for their work van. |
