The EuroMillions lottery

The EuroMillions £50 million jackpot was part won by a British lottery player last Friday 12th June 2009. The massive prize was fifty percent of the total jackpot at £24,951,269. The remaining half of the top jackpot was won by a ticket bought in Ireland so this corner of the globe was well and truly struck by winner’s luck this weekend.

Another ten EuroMillions lottery players also cashed in, when they chose the five main numbers and picked one of the Lucky Star numbers. This meant that each winner will receive £314,326 each. Another eight lucky lottery winners are due to receive £111,500 after picking five main numbers. This means that the lottery has changed the lives of lots of players last weekend in addition to the jackpot winners!
