Many people have their superstitions about the lottery. There are a number of ways that people choose their lottery numbers and some believe that certain numbers will make them more likely to win.

The National Lottery have just revealed that three is the magic number when is comes to house numbers. People who live at number three have scooped £77 million on the lottery since it launched in 1994.

This result was reached by taking into account the number of lucky ticket holders who had won over £50,000.

But before you get that ‘for sale’ sign erected in your garden and start with the search for that dream house at number three, lottery officials are keen to point out that there are an average 19 millionaires created in ever postcode area in the UK. So it seems that anywhere can be lucky when it comes to winning the lottery.
