A tobacco manufacturer who won 2.7 million on The National Lottery has vowed to carry on working.

The lucky winner who banked a cool £2,783,114 on last Saturdays rollover is Managing Director at the tobacco manufacturer’s Samuel Gawith  & Co. in Cumbria. He started work there at just 15 and so is no stranger to hard work.  He stated

I’ve worked my way up; I’ve given my life to it. There’s been some good times and some bad time’s. So there’s no way I’ll be giving it up. I wouldn’t know what to do with myself.

Mr Forrest, the lucky winner, bought his tickets online and checked his numbers, which he picked randomly and has done for 15 years, on Monday morning whilst he was at work.

When he received an email saying he had exciting news, he clicked his way through expecting a £10 prize; however he nearly fell off his chair when he realised just how much he had won.

Mr Forrest and his wife, who have been married for 17 years and have four children between them, now plan to renovate their four bedroomed house as well as treat themselves to a luxurious holiday.

It really does show that a few million pounds in your pocket is only a click away.
