Winning Lottery Ticket Going Spare?

The number one rule of playing the lottery is……..hold on to your ticket.

One lucky lottery winner is unwittingly sitting on an unclaimed £135,825 prize.

The search is now on to find the owner of the winning ticket, brought in the Edinburgh area, who matched 5 numbers and the bonus ball in the lotto draw on Wednesday, February 25.

The rules of lottery are that if the money goes unclaimed after 180 days then you lose the money. So it is imperative that the winner finds their ticket as soon as possible.

A spokesman for The National Lottery said

We're desperate to find this mystery ticketholder and unite them with their winnings – this amazing prize could really make a difference to somebody's life. Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa – someone out there could literally be sitting on a fortune.

If no one comes forward before August 24th then the winning money will go to a good charitable cause.

The winning Lotto numbers on that date were 6, 19, 25, 32, 37, 39 and the bonus ball was 21. As of Thursday 12th March no one had claimed their prize.

Anyone who believes they have the winning ticket should call 0845-910 0000.
