The National Lottery was established in 1994 and Lotto is the longest running game and still arguably the most exciting. There is also the option of having ‘lucky dip’ numbers selected for you which are randomly generated. If you do opt for purchasing online then you will be automatically notified in the event of a win, which is extremely helpful if you are unable to watch the live draws feature on BBC One on a Wednesday and Saturday.
